On September 3rd, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, president of the People’s Republic of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech at the symposium commemorating the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japan and the world anti-fascist war. On the day of students coming back to the university, teachers and students listen to, watch and discuss the important speech of the general secretary through computers, television, mobile phones, radio and other channels. On the afternoon of September 4th, the Party Committee and Student Work Department held a symposium of teachers and students to deeply study the general secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech. More than 20 counselors and student representatives from each school and college attended the forum.
