On Sptember 8th, the famous computer scientist, the first Asian winner of Turing Award, Andrew Chi-Chih Yao visited HNU and presented a lecuture on "Scientist and the Road of Sicence" for the audience of Hebei Normal University.  Professor LI Jianqiang, the chairman of HNU University Board chaired the lecture, more than  200 students and teachers attended the lecture, including the vice president, professor DENG Mingli.

    Mr. Yao is the academian of American Science Academy, American Arts and Science Academy,  Foreign Academian of Chinese Science Academy, International Association for Cryptologic Research Fellow (IACR), chief expert of 973 program.
  
    In his lecture, Mr. Yao shared his research experience and his understanding "who is the scientist and what shall a scientist to do". Later, Mr. Yao visit the Software College and the College of Information Technology.
